France Investigating New IMF Chief

It might be hard to find volunteers for this position soon. France is investigating Christine Lagarde, who took over the International Monetary Fund after Dominique Strauss-Kahn's arrest, for abuse of power during her time as France's finance minister. Lagarde is accused of wrongly forcing a bank to enter binding arbitration with a controversial businessman and former left-wing politician who had recently switched sides to support President Nicolas Sarkozy. The tycoon, Bernard Tapie, won $400 million from the deal.
