A man opened fire on six people at a family gathering in east Jonesboro, Arkansas on Saturday. In addition to killing a man and a 13-year-old girl, he shot four others, critically injuring two children ages 8 and 10. Police were called to respond to the shooting around 1:00 p.m. They were then called to respond to a second shooting at 1:22 p.m. in which the suspected gunman killed a worker at a nearby business. The suspected gunman was later found dead of a gun wound in a stopped car. It is unclear whether it was self-inflicted. Police have declined to identify the victim.
