Flynn Got Intel While Foreign Lobbying

Retired Lt. General Michael Flynn, the pick for national-security adviser in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, is reported to have received classified national-security briefings while he was running a private consulting firm offering “all source intelligence support” to foreign clients. His consulting firm, the Flynn Intel Group, registered to lobby for a Dutch company over the summer that is owned by a wealthy businessman with close ties to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erodgan. Robert Kelley, chief counsel to the Flynn Intel Group, said Flynn would cut his relationship with the company should he be asked to join the administration, but it might be too late for critics who are concerned about Flynn’s presence at the past briefings.
