Flock of Cranes Takes Down Plane

Nature and technology collided in the air above Arkansas on Friday when a flock of large birds forced a small commuter plane to make an emergency landing. Upon touching the ground, the plane’s nose was left with “significant damage,” said a spokesman for Little Rock National Airport. At least one dead crane was still attached to the plane, but the 49 passengers and crew members were left unharmed.
