Flint Mayor May Have Taken Water Money

A former Flint, Michigan, city administrator, Natasha Henderson, alleged that she was fired after reporting that Mayor Karen Weaver was telling staff to direct money intended for the water crisis to her personal banking account, instead of the official fund formed by Community Foundation of Greater Flint. Henderson filed a federal lawsuit Monday detailing the allegations. Henderson claims that she first told the city attorney’s office about the redirection of money on Feb. 9.
