Federer Ousted From French Open

Roger Federer, a 17-time Grand Slam champion and the No. 2-ranked player in the world, was ousted at the French Open on Tuesday by Stan Wawrinka, Federer’s Swiss Davis Cup teammate. Eighth-seeded Wawrinka now moves to the semifinal of the Grand Slam event. “I played by best match in a Grand Slam tournament and my best match on clay,” Wawrinka said.
