Fashion Week's New Home

Reality TV junkies will soon find out if Heidi Klum can pronounce Damrosch. New York Fashion Week, the shining light at the end of the slog on Project Runway and the showcase for hundreds of designers, might be packing up its Bryant Park tents and moving uptown in September 2010, reports the New York Post. The twice-yearly event has outgrown Bryant Park and wreaks havoc on the surrounding streets. Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center could be its new home. Sources tell the paper that Mayor Bloomberg is expected to announce the change today, a move that was requested by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and IMG Fashion.
