Family Found Safe in NV Mountains

After crews spent two nights searching, a couple and four children were found safe in a northern Nevada mountain range Tuesday. Pershing County police dispatcher Leslie Steward described the family in "fairly good shape" after being rescued from the frigid conditions—temperatures fell to -21 degrees Fahrenheit Sunday night. The six were discovered stranded in their jeep, which had rolled onto its side "down off a little slope," Steward said.
