Factory Blast Kills 65 in China

At least 65 people were killed and over 100 injured in east China’s Jiangsu Province when an explosion tore through a wheel hub polishing workshop on Saturday morning. Five employees have been placed under police custody, including two senior executives at the company which owns the factory, Kunshan Zhongrong Metal Products Co. The explosion is believed to be a work safety accident, likely caused by flames igniting dust in the workshop.
