Egypt: No Evidence of MetroJet Terrorism

Egyptian authorities on Monday rejected reports that any evidence of terrorism has been found in the crash of a Russian MetroJet airliner in the Sinai Peninsula on Oct. 31. A report issued by investigators also did not address Moscow’s leading theory—that an explosive device was placed aboard the plane. ISIS’s Sinai affiliate claimed responsibility for the crash, saying it placed an explosive inside a Schweppes soft-drink can inside the plane.
