Egypt Names Mubarak Adviser New PM

This isn’t abrupt and sketchy at all. Egypt’s president announced today that a new prime minister had been selected, one day after Hazem el-Beblawi stepped down for undisclosed reasons. Ibrahim Mehlib, who served in the ruling party of former President Hosni Mubarak and headed a state-owned construction company, will be the new prime minister. The recent shakeups in Cairo all seem to suggest that Field Marshal Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, the head of the military, will soon be making a presidential run.
