Drive-By Shooting at N.W.A. Movie

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a reported drive-by shooting outside the Compton Courthouse, where the N.W.A. movie Straight Out of Compton is filming. According to eyewitnesses, the gunfire started when men near the film set showed gang signs at a passing car. The gunmen were apparently not targeting the crew, although one bystander was hit by a bullet, but has survived. While the cast and crew may have been shocked by the shooting, filming will continue in Compton this week.
