Authorities in Colima, Mexico say they have found 50 more bodies buried in secret graves, adding to the 19 they found in the area last week. The Colima state prosecutor's office said Tuesday that the bodies were uncovered in a lot adjoining the area where the first set of graves were discovered. The 69 bodies were recovered from 49 clandestine grave sites in the community of Santa Rosa in Tecoman municipality, officials said. Efforts to identify the bodies through genetic testing are currently underway. Authorities also said some of the corpses appeared to have been buried at least five years earlier. According to Mexico's national statistics institute, Colima had the highest homicide rate in Mexico in 2017, with 113 killings per 100,000 residents.
