Dow Closes at New Low

Can you guess where this is going? The Dow fell nearly 90 points today to 7645.95, a new five-and-a-half-year closing low. Bank of America and Citigroup were predictably awful, falling 14 percent each. According to The Wall Street Journal, “The primary concern of most traders remains the health of the financial system. Since Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner's bank rescue fell flat with traders earlier this month, financial stocks have led the market on a roller-coaster ride.”
