Ambassadors from the Philippines and Norway have been killed in a helicopter crash in the mountainous north of Pakistan. According to reports, those killed also include the wives of Malaysian and Indonesian envoys to the country, as well as two Pakistani pilots. The group was on its way to the opening of a tourism project, and officials say the helicopter suffered a technical malfunction. It crashed during an emergency landing. Nonetheless, the Pakistani Taliban tried to claim the attack, even though it didn’t take place in an area known to be a TTP stronghold.
