Death Toll From Mexican Earthquake Rises to 90

The death toll from an 8.1-magnitude earthquake that rocked Mexico last week rose on Sunday to at least 90, official said. Rescue authorities are wary of entering shaken buildings, as aftershocks might crumble them. At least 71 people were confirmed dead in the state of Oaxaca alone, according to the civil protection authority. Mexico is also reeling from Hurricane Katia, which caused two deaths and major flooding.
