Daryl Hannah didn’t get the star treatment when she “visited” the White House on Tuesday. The actress was arrested along with other environmental protesters for opposing a planned oil pipeline that will run from Canada to the Gulf Coast, going through Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Hannah and the protesters sat down on the sidewalk near the White House and refused police orders to move. It’s not her first time being arrested. In 2006, she was arrested for camping out in a tree to block the bulldozing of a community garden in Los Angeles, and in 2009 for protesting mountain-top mining in West Virginia.
