Remember the dancing FBI agent who attempted a spectacular backflip, only for his gun to fall out of his pants and fire a shot at a bystander? Well he’s about to be re-armed. During a Tuesday court appearance, a lawyer for agent Chase Bishop asked a Denver judge to amend a protection order to allow Bishop to carry his service weapon again despite his viral blunder. According to the Denver District Attorney's office, prosecutors didn’t oppose the request because Tom Reddington, the bystander who was injured, didn’t object. Bishop, who faces a charge of second-degree assault, was also told he will not face additional charges as the results of his alcohol and drug tests do not support any. His next hearing is scheduled for August.
