According to the district attorney, the 16-year-old Pennsylvanian accused of stabbing 21 students and a security officer on Wednesday used "ordinary kitchen knives." The suspect, Alex Hribal, is being held without bail in a juvenile-detention center, though he will be charged as an adult. No motive for the attacker has been announced. According to CNN, his lawyer, who is asking for a mental-health examination, described the teen as "a typical young kid… All the students liked him. He wasn't a loner… I'm not sure he knows what he did, quite frankly. He's scared. He's a young kid. He's 16, looks like he's 12… he's never been in trouble."
