Crossroads Hits Key Senate States

American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS are at it again. The Karl Rove-backed duo warned Indiana, Montana, and New Mexico television viewers that they will soon be hit with $1.2 million worth of atack ads focused on Senate candidates. One, for example, targets Democratic Sen. Jon Tester from Minnesota. "Wonder how America's debt has nearly doubled since Jon Tester went to Washington?" the narrator asks. "Instead of being an independent voice for Minnesota, Tester's voted for Barack Obama's policies 95 percent of the time. For Obama's trillion-dollar health-care takeover. For the failed trillion-dollar stimulus! And voted to raise the debt limit six times for a total of 6 trillion dollars."
