Crane Collapse Kills 107 in Mecca

A crane collapse at Masjid al Haram in Mecca, the world’s largest mosque, killed more than 107 people Friday, the Saudi Arabian government said. The total number of injured has risen to 238. The mosque is built around the holiest site in Islam, the Kaaba, and is one of the focal points for the hajj pilgrimage happening later this month.
