Cops: No Confirmed Sighting of Sweat

There have been no positive sightings of escaped murderer David Sweat since "the time of his escape," according to New York State Police superindendent Joseph D'Amico. A 911 call to police on Friday afternoon reported Sweat and fellow escapee Richard Matt attempted to carjack a camper vehicle south of Malone, New York—in the rough vicinity where authorities had been searching for the men. Matt was killed by a Border Patrol agent while Sweat escaped. More than 1,000 officers continued to search for Sweat on Saturday through dense forests near the Canadian border.
