Conway: Chief of Staff Decision ‘Imminent’

Kellyanne Conway, the campaign manager for Donald Trump’s successful presidential bid who is now a top adviser to his transition team, said on Saturday that a decision on the president-elect’s chief of staff is “imminent.” Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus has “expressed interest” being Trump’s top adviser in the White House, Conway said, but there are “several” candidates. Trump’s campaign CEO, Steve Bannon, is also rumored to be in consideration. Conway herself is expected to have a prominent role in the Trump administration. CNN reported that an announcement on Trump’s choice for chief of staff could come as early as Monday.
