Congress Condemns White Supremacy, Sends Measure to Trump

The House unanimously passed a joint resolution Tuesday condemning “the violence and domestic terror” in Charlottesville, “rejecting white nationalists, white supremacists, the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, and other hate groups,” and calling on President Trump “to use all available resources to address the threats posed by those groups.” The Senate had unanimously approved the resolution Monday evening, and it now heads to Trump’s desk for him to sign into law.
