Congress Blocked From Touching Pope

In an effort to keep members of Congress from getting too up close and personal with Pope Francis, teams of lawmakers from both parties have decided to act as “blocking tackles,” during His Holiness’s visit to Capitol Hill. Additionally, after the pope delivers his speech, the doors to the cloakrooms and hallways will be reportedly blocked or locked to prevent members of Congress from leaving until Francis greets visitors on the West Front balcony.
