Christmas Attacks Kill 39 in Nigeria

At least 39 people died in Nigeria on Christmas Day after a series of attacks by Islamist terrorists. Thirty-two people died in the bombing of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Madalla, near the capital Lagos. Another church was bombed in Jos, and gunmen then fired on police who arrived at the scene. Boko Haram, an Islamist group in Nigeria’s north, has taken credit for the attacks.
