Chinese Earthquake Kills as Least 367

At least 367 people were killed in China after a magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit the Yunnan province, and over 1,800 are injured. The earthquake's epicenter was in Longtoushan town in Ludian county, which has a population of approximately 295,000. The southwestern region of China has historically suffered deadly quakes. In 1970, an earthquake in Yunnan killed 15,000 people, and a quake in Sichuan in 2008 killed nearly 70,000. The deadly earthquake comes just after a factory explosion killed 65 people on Saturday morning. To add to China's troubles, the state media reported that nearly 100 civilians and "terrorists" were killed in the past week in Xianjing.
