China Leads in Clean Energy Spending

The world's most polluting country is working on a new reputation. According to a new study, China is adding more clean market capacity than any other emerging market. Climatescope 2014 found that the country has the highest total CO2 emissions of any country, but invested $54 billion in clean energy last year, and $302.2 billion between 2006 and 2013. Behind China, Brazil, South Africa, India, and Chile round out the top five emerging markets for clean energy investment.
