Chicago Flight Quarantined

A Delta flight at Chicago’s Midway Airport was quarantined late Thursday afternoon after it landed from Detroit, reportedly because of a sick passenger. The Centers for Disease Control examined photographs taken of bug bites on one of the passengers after photos were taken by medical examiners on Delta Flight 3163 shortly after it landed at 3:30 p.m. local time. The CDC confirmed reports of a “possible illness” on the flight, but it was cleared after being held for about three hours. Midway remained open as passengers on board the flight tweeted photos of the activities occurring on board.
