CBS Launches Subscription Service

À la carte television has arrived. A day after HBO announced an Internet-only option for 2015, CBS has decided to launch its own subscription streaming service. It will be called “CBS All Access” and cost $5.99 a month. This is the first time a traditional broadcaster will make its live feed available over the web to non-TV customers. In the beginning, it will only be available in 14 markets.
