Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said he wasn’t completely sure if President Obama was a Christian, during an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday. “I take him at his word,” he said when asked about the president. Carson also suggested that if Germans citizens were armed before World War II, they could have helped prevent the Holocaust. “The likelihood of Hitler being able to take control would have been diminished if they had guns,” he said. Blitzer also asked him about Rupert Murdoch’s comments suggesting Obama was not a “real black president.” “Well he is black and he is the president,” Carson said. Watch a portion below, via CNN.
