Bush and Cheney Reunite

Despite the harsh words ex-President George W. Bush had for his former Vice President Dick Cheney in his recent memoir, Decision Points, including that he considered dropping him in ‘04, the two were all smiles as they reunited onstage Tuesday at the groundbreaking of the $300 million Bush Presidential Library on the Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas, Texas. It was the first time Bush and Cheney (he had heart surgery in July), Cheney praised Obama and also got in a subtle dig President Obama. Bush's library was maybe "the only shovel ready project in America," the former VP said, a subtle reference to Obama's stimulus plan, which Republicans have long called ineffective.
