Britney is back. The pop star’s new album Femme Fatale is No. 1 on the Billboard 200, putting Spears in a tie for the third most No. 1 albums among women. Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson both have six No. 1 albums as well, while Madonna has seven and Barbra Streisand has nine. But Femme Fatale only sold 276,000 copies, marking Spears’ second-lowest first week sales—her 1999 debut album Baby One More Time sold 121,000 copies its first week, but was still No.1 on Billboard. All but one of Spears’ albums opened at No. 1—Blackout debuted at No. 2 in 2007.
