Britain to Reopen Airports

Britain is sending warships to pick up stranded passengers in Spain, but not all grounded passengers have to look forward to a stint with the Royal Navy: Britain is set to reopen airports on Tuesday. The New York Post says Scottish airspace will open at 1 a.m. Eastern time, midlands airspace will open at 8 a.m. Eastern time, and the rest of British airspace, including London, will open at 1 p.m Eastern time. British Airways meanwhile has said it will resume flights out of London at 7 p.m. local time. The move comes amid criticism from airlines, who are complaining that the flight restrictions are unnecessary. Germany has also given Lufthansa permission to make 50 passenger flights back into Germany.
