Residency Dispute

Bob Kerrey Eligible for Nebraska Ballot

Good news for Bob Kerrey! His name will be on the Nebraska ballot for Senate after all. Republicans had tried to keep the Democrat out of the election by contesting his residency. Kerrey moved to New York after serving as Nebraska's governor and representing the state in the Senate until 2001, but he's been back home since February, when he decided to try to return to Congress. According to a decision made Monday by the Nebraska Supreme Court, he's eligible to run.
