Thought the stimulus battle was bad? Brace yourself: Experts say Obama's bank rescue legislation will be an even tougher sell. Obama is expected to ask Congress for as much as $1 trillion to add to the $300 billion remaining Troubled Asset Relief Program. In fact, Geithner's talk was originally scheduled for Monday, but the White House bumped it to keep the focus on approving the stimulus. Couple ongoing stimulus issues with the questionable success of TARP's first round (Rep. Darrell Issa calls continuing TARP "the definition of insanity") and the Dems are looking at a steep uphill climb.
