Baby Buried in Montana Woods for Nine Hours Survives
A 5-month-old baby survived being buried in the Montana woods under debris for over nine hours, authorities said. Deputies said a man who was threatening people at Lolo National Forest was apprehended and told authorities about the baby. Francis Crowley, 32, is facing a charge of criminal endangerment and possibly other charges. The infant was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and then to the Montana Division of Child and Family Services.“He suffered some minor scrapes and bruising but overall is in good health,” sheriff’s spokeswoman said in a statement.
