Simon Pegg stars as Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness. In 1999, he created, starred in, and co-wrote the Channel 4 sitcom Spaced with Jessica Stevenson. Pegg co-wrote (with Spaced director Edgar Wright) and starred in the "romantic zombie comedy" film (or "RomZomCom") Shaun of the Dead. He and Spaced co-star Nick Frost starred in 2007’s Hot Fuzz (which Pegg co-wrote with Wright) and 2011’s Paul (co-written with Frost). Pegg’s other credits include Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible III, The Good Night, Run, Fat Boy, Run, the World War II miniseries Band of Brothers, 24 Hour Party People, The Adventures of Tintin, and Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. He has also made numerous guest appearances on television series as varied as Doctor Who, Black Books, Brass Eye Special, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Robot Chicken, and I'm Alan Partridge. Following the release of Star Trek: Into Darkness, Pegg will next be seen in this autumn’s feature The World’s End, which will reunite him with Frost and Wright.
