The Minnesota Democrat has touted her legislative record while on the trail. But it hasn’t always been smooth sailing.
The two Midwesterners were not, well, nice during Wednesday night’s debate.
“This is not about wanting a weak presidency, or a weak commander in chief… This is neither hawkish or dovish,” said Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT).
“Whether it’s real or imagined, discussed or not, Bloomberg is a guy who can fund an entire campaign for somebody,” said one New York City Democratic elected official.
The party is re-assessing after the president’s acquittal. And some lawmakers aren’t sure there’s much to be gained.
