Arson Attack on North Carolina Church

Investigators say an arson attack burned down part of a predominantly black church in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday. “Fire pattern analysis and excavation of fire debris, looking for clues and evidence, and the evidence that we found out here does indicate that it’s a set fire,” a fire investigator said. Authorities said they have some suspects, but are looking for tips from the community as well. For her part, co-pastor Rhonda Kinsey described her reaction as “shock.” “You hear about it, but you never imagine you would have a fire at your church,” she said.
