Amid Trade Talks, China Grants Ivanka Trump Five Trademarks

Ivanka Trump's company has been granted preliminary approval for five trademarks this month by the Chinese government, as President Trump pushes for trade negotiations with the country. On Sunday, four trademarks for child care centers, sunglasses and wedding dresses were approved. The fifth which covers brokerage, charitable fundraising, and art valuation services were approved on January 6. The applications were filed in 2016 and 2017 after Trump's inauguration and unless objected will be finalized after 90 days.
