American Jihadist Killed in Syria

Abu Mohammad Al Amriki, a high profile American jihadist who defected from Al Qaeda earlier this year to join ISIS, was reportedly killed Sunday in Kobani. Al Amriki first appeared in san ISIS recruitment video in February when, in heavily accented English, he said he had lived in the U.S. for ten years before traveling to Syria. He became a kind of poster boy for “Jihad Cool” foreign fighters and was featured heavily in propaganda aimed at foreign audiences.
