Afghanistan's Secret Troop Surge

Military officials have quietly doubled the number of elite special operations teams in Afghanistan. The skilled teams are there to track down Taliban leaders. The move, according to the Los Angeles Times, suggests the urgency on the part of the part of military leaders who believe that the window to limit the Taliban's influence is shrinking. Officials would not say exactly how many new groups of SEALS and Delta Force units were operating in the country.
