ACLU Sues Trump’s Voter-Fraud Commission

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit Monday challenging President Trump's voter fraud commission. The group claims the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity violated federal public access requirements by holding its first meeting in private and failing to notify the public. Trump created the commission with an executive order in March to investigate his claims that voter fraud in the 2016 election prevented him from winning the popular vote. As many as 44 states and D.C. have turned down commission requests that they hand over voting information, The Hill reported.
