Abortion Video Makers Charged for Soliciting Organs
WHAT YOU GET
A Texas grand jury on Monday indicted the makers of the videos that allegedly showed Planned Parenthood staff discussing fetal tissue donation. The two video makers—David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt—have been indicted on charges of tampering with a government record and soliciting organs.
Jurors also said that they did not find any evidence of illegal activity on Planned Parenthood's part. The videos, which were released last year by the anti-abortion activist group Center for Medical Progress, prompted much outrage and caused many states to launch investigations into Planned Parenthood organizations.
