A judge has ordered that former NFL star Aaron Hernandez’s alleged suicide notes be released before his burial on Monday. Hernandez, who was serving a life sentence on murder charges, took his own life last week inside his jail cell. The district attorney reserves the right to redact any portions of the suicide notes in order to protect the integrity of the investigation. “To the extent that information can be produced without impairing any ongoing investigation, it shall be produced,” the court filing reads. A Newsweek report claimed that Hernandez authored three suicide notes to his fiancée, his daughter and a friend, but authorities have not publicly confirmed this.
