27 Dead as Tornadoes Batter South

The deadly storms that started wreaking havoc in the southern and central regions of the U.S. over the weekend aren't over yet. In total, 27 people have been killed, 11 of them on Monday when tornadoes hit Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. On Tuesday, twisters are expected to slam the regions that were already hardest-hit. “It is almost identical areas that are under the gun, two days in a row,” the Weather Channel’s chief meteorologist Kevin Roth said. “That’s not normally the case.”
