25-Year-Old Wins Iditarod

Dallas Seavey turned 25 on March 4, the day the 1,000-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race began, making him the youngest winner ever. He finished in nine days, four hours, and 29 minutes. Dallas’s father won the race in 2004, and placed seventh this time around. His 74-year-old grandfather is running his fifth Iditarod this year. “It’s kind of what we do,” said Dallas.
