Two police officers were shot in Odessa, Texas, on Wednesday during a nine-hour standoff with a gunman. Sgt. Pete Gonzales was shot in the arm and Officer Cory Wester were trying to servie a warrant at an apartment complex before the wanted subject opened fire. The two officers sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and upper leg. They were taken to the hospital and are listed in fair condition. The suspect was later taken into custody.
