Two firefighters were killed and two others hurt after a blaze caused a building to collapse on them on Monday in Kansas City. Firefighters were dispatched and evacuated people from the building, which included apartments. The two firefighters who died had rescued two people from the second story of the building before the collapse, Kansas City fire officials said. Two other firefighters were injured in a collapse while working to clear an area with a partially collapsed roof. Officials did not immediately identify the two firefighters who were killed. It wasn't immediately clear what started the blaze and an investigation is ongoing.
